The SCR Patrol initiative is focused on the development and testing of an operational system for the oversight and control of micromobility in public traffic. Its purpose is to improve safety, enable more effective enforcement of traffic rules, and establish a factual foundation for future regulatory solutions.
The initiative is based on a clear premise: micromobility is already an integral part of everyday traffic, while operational and regulatory tools for its supervision have not yet been systematically developed.
The SCR Patrol initiative aims to enable:
The initiative is not oriented toward market commercialization, but toward public safety and regulatory evaluation.
SCR Patrol represents an official operational system developed exclusively for non-commercial use
The system:
System development is conducted through a controlled pilot-based approach.
The initiative is structured around a phased pilot model that allows for:
Pilot implementations are considered in cooperation with competent authorities and local communities, without prejudging final decisions.
The initiative allows for regional cooperation and exchange of experience, as well as future alignment with European policies and programs in the field of urban mobility and traffic safety.
Each subsequent step is based strictly on pilot results and institutional decisions.
The SCR Patrol initiative is launched by SCR – Smart City Ride / Scroller EV (Croatia) as the system’s development and technical lead.
System development, adaptation, and technical evolution remain under the responsibility of the initiator, in cooperation with public institutions and without transfer of intellectual property.
SCR Patrol is not a response to a single city or a specific market. It is an initiative aimed at the systemic resolution of micromobility safety.
Any implementation is carried out exclusively within an institutional framework and with the approval of the competent authorities.
